Cascade Pass workshops:

1. Involve a "hands on" approach to our books. The girls participate in games, criticalthinking skills, drama and questions. We believe that learning should be fun. Our approach is founded on this premise.

2. Are approximately one hour long and will work best with about 30 girls. If the group is larger we can do multiple sessions.

3. Are linked to badge and tryit activities. An example is Sky Search badge and Space Explorer tryit where we use material and lesson plans from our You Can Be A Woman Astronomer book.

4. Provide positive role model through our author scientists, and our principal author Judith Cohen. Ms. Cohen answers questions and talks about the highlights of her career as an engineer and inspires the message you can do it too!
